Hydraulic Dock Leveler Specified for Your Loading Operation

When comparing hydraulic dock leveler suppliers, focus on rated capacity, pit size, platform dimensions, vehicle height range, lip type, traffic frequency, control sequence, safety devices, and site construction. These decisions affect fit, reliability, installation, and the total value of the final door.

YUOU develops the proposal around your project information. We can coordinate the deck, lip, cylinders, power pack, frame, maintenance support, controls, safety devices, and pit interfaces so you can compare a defined configuration instead of only a headline price.

Safety components include the existing velocity fuse in the hydraulic circuit and full-range toe guards around the moving platform. Final capacity and configuration should be confirmed against the actual forklift axle loads, cargo weight, trailer range, pit structure, operating procedure, and applicable site safety requirements.

Product Details

Use the following product details to compare suppliers against the same project requirements. YUOU can review these items with your drawings before the final configuration and quotation are confirmed.

Material

The anti-slip chequered steel platform is reinforced underneath with continuous steel profiles to distribute forklift wheel loads through the deck and supporting structure. The deck thickness, reinforcement pattern, lip arrangement, and rated capacity should be matched to the real operating load and wheel configuration.

An anti-corrosion surface finish protects the steel assembly in normal loading-bay conditions. Finish selection and maintenance intervals should reflect moisture, de-icing salts, washdown, coastal exposure, and other site conditions.

dock leveler motor

Motor

The enclosed electro-hydraulic power pack uses an industrial AC motor, with the existing specification typically ranging from 0.75kW to 1.1kW. It supplies hydraulic pressure for controlled deck lifting and lip operation.

Motor output, duty cycle, power supply, enclosure, thermal protection, and control sequence should be selected for the platform size, rated capacity, operating frequency, and site environment.

Hydraulic cylinder

Hydraulic Oil

The hydraulic pump, manifold, cylinders, hoses, seals, and fluid work together to raise the platform and position the lip. Correct hydraulic-fluid grade and viscosity support consistent movement across the intended operating-temperature range.

Fluid condition, connections, hoses, seals, and oil level should be included in routine inspection. The final fluid specification should follow the selected power pack and the actual ambient and cold-storage conditions.

dock leveler sealing strips

Sealing Rubber Strip

Perimeter EPDM rubber seals or heavy-duty brush seals can be installed along the platform sides and rear hinge area to reduce open gaps between the deck and concrete pit.

These seals help limit drafts, dust, insects, and conditioned-air loss when the leveler is parked. Sealing performance depends on pit accuracy, platform movement, seal selection, installation, and regular inspection.

Advantages

Choose YUOU when you need the hydraulic dock leveler to be coordinated with the opening, operating process, installation conditions, and purchasing requirements rather than supplied as a generic standard configuration.

Push-Button Hydraulic Operation

The control station operates the electro-hydraulic system for deck lifting and lip positioning, reducing manual handling and supporting a more consistent loading sequence.

Reinforced Anti-Slip Steel Deck

The chequered steel deck and continuous underside reinforcement distribute wheel loads through the platform. Rated capacity must be selected from the actual forklift, cargo, axle, and wheel data.

Hydraulic Safety Stop Protection

The velocity fuse in the hydraulic circuit is designed to restrict uncontrolled platform descent if pressure is suddenly lost. Safe operation also depends on correct procedures, maintenance, and vehicle restraint practices.

Controlled Forklift Transition

Hinged or telescopic lips create a bridge between the dock and trailer bed. Lip selection, leading-edge geometry, working range, and trailer position affect transition smoothness and usable overlap.

Sealing and Energy-Control Options

Perimeter rubber or brush seals can reduce drafts and open gaps around the parked platform, supporting cleaner loading areas and lower conditioned-air leakage.

Serviceable Electro-Hydraulic Power Pack

The enclosed power pack combines the motor, pump, manifold, and hydraulic controls. Routine inspection of fluid, hoses, cylinders, seals, pivots, and electrical components supports dependable operation.
